With so much buzz already in the beauty and personal care space, there is one new entrant coming to this space. Recently, businesswoman and artist Ananya Birla announced her latest venture in the rapidly growing beauty and personal care (BPC) industry. Her company will roll out a range of beauty and personal care brands nationally through this year, 2025, targeting consumers across segments, including makeup, fragrances, and more, in a phased launch. “The beauty industry in India is evolving at an unprecedented pace, and consumers are increasingly seeking products that resonate with their individuality and lifestyle. Birla’s venture is poised to transform multiple categories with unique and innovative brands. Under her leadership and inspired by her taste, the brands will adopt a product-first strategy, emphasizing differentiated packaging, unmatched international quality, and a commitment to celebrating individuality. The venture aims not only to meet the expectations of Indian consumers but also to establish a global footprint, reflecting Ananya’s vision of creating a brand that appeals to modern, discerning audiences worldwide.

This latest venture underscores Ananya’s remarkable journey as an entrepreneur. Daughter of industrialist Kumar Mangalam and Neerja Birla, Ananya launched Svatantra Microfin, a pioneering microfinance organization that today stands as the second-largest and fastest-growing NBFC-MFI in India. Beyond her business ventures, Ananya is a passionate mental health advocate. Through the Ananya Birla Foundation, she has partnered with 25+ nonprofit organizations, impacting over 30,000 community members across five Indian states.
